With 40 years’ experience in the UK, US, Africa, and the Middle East, Chris brings a wealth of expertise in Mining, Project Management, Engineering, Operations, Maintenance, and Metals processing to the Company.
Initially commencing his career path with the mining Industry in the UK, he then made the move to the Middle East where he was actively involved in major successful Projects during his Maintenance and Engineering duties with DUBAL, inclusive of being an Assessor for the Employee Suggestion Scheme initiatives, a Board Member for the Energy Conservation Committee and active involvement with Dubal’s Emiratisation programme.
In 2019, he also held the position of Senior Vice President and General Manager for a Gold Mine in Arizona, US and was instrumental in significantly increasing the output of the Gold Mine by implementing several Plant Enhancement Projects.
For the past 3 years he has been diligently sourcing sustainable supplies of Copper Ore, Copper Concentrates and PGM’s throughout the Africa regions as a sustainable primary feed material for the project of a UAE Copper Smelter and Precious Metals Recycling, Separation & Refining Facility along with identifying sources of Scrap Copper and Non- Ferrous Metals from E Waste as a supplementary feed to further promote the UAE Circular Economy initiatives.
