Process Detail:
Our smelting department plays an important role in the production process by either melting fine metal into ingots or producing grains from scrap for our refinery.
Smelting is a crucial step in almost all services offered by ESNAA, so this department is central to our daily operations.
We have very short lead times.
The tasks of our laboratory are gold analysis, metal analysis and research and development (R&D). The analysis monitors the quality of the metal throughout the refining process and determines the fineness of the gold. ESNAA’s analytical technology includes both traditional fire assay and spectrometry.
The refining of precious metals, such as scrap gold, requires a chemical process in which unwanted substances are removed and the result is purified by separating valuable gold from other “waste” materials”. This task is carried out by our refinery. Our chemists use a variety of techniques to improve the quality of the fine gold produced and delivered to the smelters.
